Laminating
Island School & Art Supply will be happy to laminate your chart/poster/cutouts. Laminating posters and cutouts will increase there life in the classroom as well as improving their color. We have laminating services available in each of our locations. Normally items can be laminated while you wait. Certain jobs may take up to 1 business day. We will always try to have your laminating ready by the next business day.

17"x22" Chart purchased from our Store $ 1.00 / each chart 22"x28" Chart purchased from our Store $ 1.50/each chart All pre-punched items, charts, paper, and other $1.25/linear foot

If you would like any items purchased online laminated we will be happy to do so for you. Just let us know in the comment field when you check out. We will e-mail you with lamination charges when we receive the order. If at that point you would prefer not to have the items laminated, just e-mail us or call. For any items you need laminated that need to be punched out ahead of time, the cost will be $ 2.25/square foot.
Laminating FYI When laminating small pieces it is best to punch/cut them out before laminating them. If you laminate the sheet first then cut out the pieces there is a very good chance the lamination will peel. In addition when cutting out charts, or pieces leave 1/8" of an inch (more if paper is thick) of laminate so the seal will keep and help prevent peeling. If it can be avoided....never cut posters to the edge. Vis-a-Vis waterbase markers can be used on our laminated surfaces and then wiped off using a damp cloth or paper towel. Vis-a-Vis markers are available in each of our stores.
